College Credit for Apprenticeship Training

A student who has completed a federally-registered apprenticeship and achieved journey worker status can received college credit toward the Apprenticeship Technologies AAS degree based on the apprenticeship training.

To receive the transcripted apprenticeship certified experience credit, a student must submit the following:

  1. The certificate of completion from the US Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship;
  2. The non-traditional certified experience credit application; and
  3. The transcription fee of $10 per credit.

The number of credits to be transcripted is determined by the term of the apprenticeship:
