Parking permit enforcement will resume this upcoming academic year 2021-2022
Please contact Parking Services with questions at (907) 786-1119 or by emailing email@example.com.
Parking permits are required during enforcement hours, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, while classes are in session for Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters. Permits must be displayed properly on the vehicle in order to be valid. They are portable decals that can be removed and reapplied between assigned vehicles. You can register up to three vehicles to a single permit. Motorcycles must be registered to the permit but the permit itself does not need to be displayed on the motorcycle. If you forget your permit on another vehicle, it is your responsibility to ensure you properly display a valid permit while parked on campus. You are not required to pay for parking on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays year-round. Parking Rules and Regulations are available online.
Permits must be purchased online at uaa.thepermitstore.com. Once the purchase is complete, you will print out a Temporary Permit and place it face up on the driver side dash. Your permit should arrive by mail between one to two weeks. The permit will come with instructions for use. If you do not receive the permit by mail within two days from the expiration date of the Temporary Permit, please contact Parking Services Office.

Pay for parking by using the Pay'n Park Kiosks, Passport App, at the meter-heads or by purchasing a one-time-use Full-Day or 2-Hour Scratch-Off Permit at Parking Services . Parking is $2.00 per hour on main campus and Student Housing Visitor Lots, and $10.00 per hour at the Alaska Airlines Center Reserved Lot.
- Pay'n Park Kiosk: All drive-up kiosks are located throughout campus and can be found on the Campus Map. Payment methods accepted are $1, $5, and $10 cash denominations as well as Debit/Credit
cards. There is an option for pay-and-display (parking permit receipt must be properly
displayed) or pay-by-plate (permit not required to be displayed). The pay-and-display
permit must be placed face up on the driver side dash and be completely visible from
the outside. The pay-by-plate option requires a license plate number to be entered
at the kiosk. Pay'n Park permits are non-refundable and cannot be replaced. The kiosks
do not give change for overpayment. Instead, a refund receipt is provided which can
be submitted to the Parking Services Office.
- Passport App: Download the app and pay on-the-go using your smartphone. If you don't have a smartphone,
you can still pay-by-phone by calling 907-341-4170. Visit our Passport App page for more information.

Office or at the Consortium Library Circulation Desk. The Full-Day Scratch-Off is
$10 and the 2-Hour Scratch-Off is $4. The permit must be completely visible from the
outside and the date must be completely scratched off. The permit can be hung from
