What has the Green Fee done for UAA? Take a look.

In spring 2013, students brought a proposal for a campus bike share to the Green Fee Board. The proposal was approved, and just a year later, UAA's students have access to their own fleet of Torker Big-T bikes. Anyone with a Wolfcard and a helmet can rent a bike through the Consortium Library for one month, free of charge.

"A Fierce Green Fire" Movie and Panel - 11/21/13

In October 2013, a group of students proposed that the Green Fee fund a showing and panel discussion of "A Fierce Green Fire," a documentary on the environmental movement. Their project was approved, and in November the event went off without a hitch.

Residential Hall Recycling Competition - 1/16/13

A hard-working team of resident assistants and advisors brought a recycling competition to UAA's residential halls in fall 2013. Students received mock-up energy bills and competed to recycle more than other halls. After the competition ended, the triumphant hall got a s'mores party and shirts paid for by the Green Fee.
