Under the Senior Vice Provost, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Engagement, and Academic Support provides leadership for community partnership programs and university performance reporting, plus oversight for the Office of Institutional Research, The Center for Community Engagement & Learning, The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence, and Academic Innovations & eLearning.  The programs within the office serve several important roles: 

  • provide direction for faculty development,
  • support new programs to improve teaching and learning,
  • provide data and analysis of UAA's performance to aid in decision-making and accreditation,
  • foster UAA's service-learning and community engagement activities, and
  • help to clarify and demonstrate UAA's value in the greater community.

The office is designed to ask tough questions, develop new initiatives, and support innovative solutions.
