College Readiness Resources
Kenai Peninsula College (KPC) has a series of College Readiness Resources available to review math or English as well as a module that introduces students to distance learning technologies. These materials are available online free of charge. Please visit the KPC College Readiness Resources website for more information.
Khan Academy is a free online resource with lessons on a wide array of mathematical concepts. They have a full math curriculum from pre-algebra through calculus complete with problem sets. Khan Academy can be accessed via www.khanacademy.org.
SLED Online Tutoring
The Statewide Library Electronic Doorway (SLED) is a public service providing easy and equitable access to electronic information. Free online tutoring is available in the areas of English,math, science, social studies, and study skills. Sign in for a live online tutoring session at sled.alaska.edu/homework.This online service is offered seven days a week and is available from noon - 2 a.m.
StudentLingo is a series of interactive on-demand workshops, action plans and valuable resources focused on helping students achieve their academic, personal and career goals. UAA students can access this service through Kodiak College.
