Transition to 10-digit dialing

On Oct. 24, 2021, Alaska telephone companies will begin enforcing 10-digit dialing for local calls within the Alaska 907 area code. IT Services has ensured that 10-digit dialing is already functional and the UAA community should begin the transition to using 10 digits to dial external numbers for both local and long-distance calls immediately.

This email is not legitimate and we are taking action to remove it from user mailboxes. However, if you see it before it is removed please report as phishing in Gmail and delete it.

Great Alaska Shakeout earthquake exercise scheduled for Oct. 21

The Great Alaska Shakeout earthquake exercise will take place next Thursday, Oct. 21, at 10:21 a.m. Organizations and schools across Alaska will participate as part of a nationwide effort to get everyone to “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” as practice for a damaging earthquake.
