Spring 2007: Alumni Association Scholarship and Awards Committee move luncheon

The UAA Alumni Association Scholarship and Awards Committee has made an executive decision to move the location of the 2006 Alumni and Friends Award Luncheon from the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel to the UAA Commons, room 107, on Friday, Feb. 16 at noon. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.
We believe the Commons will be a perfect setting and location for this years event and expected attendance. We are excited about the potential for this signature event and look forward to creating a demand for a larger location over the next couple of years as we continue to experience growth in the number of nominations received.

Please make a note of the venue change and plan on joining us as we celebrate and recognize alumni and friends of UAA for their accomplishments and contributions to UAA, the state of Alaska and the communities in which they live.. Invitations will be mailed the week of Jan. 29. Award recipients and nominees will be posted on the UAA Alumni website and announced publicly on Monday, Feb. 5.

If you have been considering submitting a nomination it is not too late. The Alumni Association is accepting nominations through Feb. 2.
