The Geophysical Institute at University of Alaska Fairbanks announces the 2007 schedule
of Science for Alaska, a statewide, weekly public lecture series featuring presentations
on scientific findings in a number of fields. The lecture series takes place in Jan.
and Feb. 2007, in Fairbanks, Anchorage, Juneau and Seward, Alaska. Please see the
website for specific schedule and location information.
Lectures are free and open to all ages, last about one hour, and are followed by a
question and answer session. A one credit continuing education course for teachers
will be offered in conjunction with the lecture series through the UAF Department
of Education.
