NSF OIG Presentation

The UAA Grants and Contracts office will sponsor a workshop on May 8 by the National Science Foundation Office of the Inspector General from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Commons 107. Presenters from the NSF OIG will be Bill Kilgallin, Head, Legal and Outreach and Crystal LaCore, Special Investigations, Criminal Division. This workshop is intended to inform and update financial managers and staff, grant managers, principal investigators, procurement staff and administrative service professionals who work with NSF awards or anticipate doing so in the future on current NSF policies, procedures and requirements. Topics will include compliance, reporting responsibilities, ethical spending, sound budget decisions, consequences of non-compliance, misappropriation, unethical conduct and more.
