Administration Building Closure

On May 12 from roughly 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anchorage Municipal Light and Power will turn off power to the entire Administration Building to make changes for the Integrated Science Building. Therefore, on May 12 the Administration Building will be closed. This construction will also require a short section of Alumni Loop Road to be closed. Traffic will be detoured through the Library parking lot.

The Green and Gold Daily offices are located within the Administration Building.  As power goes off, so will the servers which power the Green and Gold Daily site.  This means that during the power outage the site and all other Green and Gold affiliated sites, including UAA Podcasts, Internal Podcasts, IPY, RSS Feeds and Green and Gold for MyUA will not be functioning. We will take this opportunity to test our servers' ability to recover from power outages.  If successful, the site should be available at roughly 2 p.m. on May 12; if unsuccessful the site will be back on Monday morning.
