National Science Foundation Proposal Writing Workshop

Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, a proposal writing workshop will be held Aug. 22 through 23 at UAF. The workshop aims to provide future proposal submitters in all disciplines funded by NSF with the knowledge and tools to write successful proposals. The workshop will also provide proposal review experience. It will enable interactions between NSF program directors and recent NSF awardees. The event is targeted at Alaska, an EPSCoR state. The workshop is open to participants from other states as space permits.

The National Science Foundation is providing some participant support for faculty from UAA, UAS and UA rural campuses to attend this workshop. Applications for participant support can be found here and must be completed by May 22.
