June 26, 2007: KRUA shuts off net radio in protest
by Kathleen McCoy |
KRUA, along with other radio stations across the country will participate in a National Day of Silence on June 26. KRUA will be protesting the Copyright Royalty Boards royalty increase, which puts internet radio stations in danger because of the drastic increase of the royalty fee. On June 26, KRUA will shut down its webstream to show its support for the National Day of Silence. For more information visit savenetradio.org.
