Task force

Dr. Brian Saylor, Director of the Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies, Dr. Steve Colt, Associate Professor of Economics and acting director of the Institute of Social and Economic Research, Dr. Mary Ellen Gordian, Senior Research Associate, Institute for Circumpolar Health Studies and Ed Peace, Instructor, UAA Automotive Technologies Program have been appointed by Mayor Mark Begich to an I M Task Force that will meet over the summer to evaluate the Anchroage Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program and make recommendations on whether it should be retained in its current form, modified to increase benifits to the community, or be discontinued.
