Defibrillator software update

Any department that uses the Lifepak 500 Automated External Defibrillator needs to ensure the device software has been updated to the 2005 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR. Medtronic has supplied the University Police Department with the software update. Contact Lt. Swartz at (907) 786.1149 to arrange a time when your AED can be updated.
