UAA Culinary Arts student awarded $20,000 scholarship

Congratulations to UAA Culinary Arts student Shauna Moore, who has been awarded a $20,000 scholarship from the Alaska Cabaret Hotel and Retail Restaurant Association (CHARR).  Shauna is currently studying abroad in Italy at the prestigious Culinary Institute of Florence (APICIUS).  Upon her return to the states, Shauna plans to complete her Associate of Applied Science in culinary arts at UAA and intends to continue on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) to earn her Bachelor of Arts in hospitality and restaurant management through UAA's and UNLV's transfer agreement.
