by Kathleen McCoy  |

Wired creatures, mobiles and fabric postcards will be sold 1-3 p.m. Friday afternoon, Nov. 2, at the Campus Bookstore in a charity fund-raiser titled "Autumn Harvest--No Child Should Be Hungry." All revenues from the sale are earmarked for Kids Kitchen Inc., the Mountain View charity, and for the alleviation of hunger in children. The art works were constructed this month by 140 students in UAA Professor Herminia Din's Art Appreciation course. A slide show documenting their efforts will be shown and light refreshments served. For further info., contact Herminia Din at afhwd@uaa.alaska.edu or  Rachel Epstein at 786-4782.
