Alaska Airlines presents student appreciation dinner for Architecture Engineering Club

The UAA Architecture Engineering (AE) Club would like to invite you to attend its 2007 Student Team Appreciation Dinner, presented by Alaska Airlines. On Friday, November 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the UAA Student Union Den, join the club in welcoming its new 2008 team, and listen to several presenters, including past team members.

For the past three years the UAA AE Club has sent student teams to assist Habitat for Humanity in building affordable housing in different regions of our country that have been ravaged by natural disasters. These areas include Charleston, South Carolina; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Port Sulfur, Louisiana.

Two round-trip Alaska Airlines tickets to anywhere Alaska Airlines travels will be given away as a door prize. A silent auction will also take place, featuring ceramics from UAA's very own Steven Godfrey and Anna Ramsburg.

The cost to attend is $20 for the general public and $10 for UAA students. Please RSVP to afrdm1@uaa.alaska.edu. Contact AE Club Advisor Bob Maxwell at 786-4914 for more information.
