ClubED Book Drive end this Saturday

ClubED will be holding a book drive from December 3, 2007, through January 12, 2008, as a fundraiser and to benefit Room to Read. Room to Read promotes literacy in Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Laos, Zambia and South Africa by building schools, libraries, and computer labs in those countries and funding scholarships for girls. Collection boxes will be located in the Student Union and the Commons as well as other sites around campus. The club is seeking college textbooks (with copyright dates from the past 5 years), study guides, trade paperbacks, and any other books recently used in college classes.
