Spring 2008: Paint by number now on display

The Student Union Gallery and AAASC (Artists Advocating Active Spectator Contribution) presents "Paint By #: An Interactive Community Collaborative" at the UAA Student Union Gallery beginning January 17. The show runs through Friday, February 1, 2008. "Paint By #" consists of a series of unfinished paint-by-number paintings to be finished by the public.
Opening Reception: Thursday, January 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. First Friday Reception: Friday, February 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The First Friday reception will exhibit the finished paintings and will accompanied by a one-person performance featuring Shakespearean actor Cedric Liqueur, with excerpts from Vincent Van Gogh's life. For more information contact jsun by phone at 786-1219 or by email at gallery@uaa.alaska.edu.
