Spring 2008: Starting your own business workshop

The Mat-Su Small Business Development Center will offer a workshop entitled "Starting Your Own Small Business" on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SBDC office in Wasilla. There is a $25 fee for the seminar and pre-registration is required. Registration can be completed online at aksbdc.ecenterdirect.com or by calling the SBDC at 373-7232.
The workshop will cover basic issues faced when starting a new small business such as business planning, marketing, record-keeping, legal forms of business, and raising capital.
