Environmental Challenges of Oil and Gas Development in the Arctic

Professor Anatoly Zolotukhin will present a free lecture, "Environmental Challenges of Oil and Gas Development in the Arctic," on Tuesday, April 29 at 7 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium.

Zolotukhin currently serves as the Deputy Rector on International Affairs at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. He is actively involved in the coordination and education of 850 foreign students from 48 countries as well as research and development efforts with other universities. Gubkin is considered by many to be Russia's premier university in the oil and gas fields. Professor Zolotukhin most recently served as Technical Director for Statoil Russia, an integrated oil and gas company based in Norway.
