Lean Fare for Alaska Moose

Join the Complex Systems Group on Friday, April 25 at noon in the UAA/APU Consortium Library, room 307 for Dr. Don Spalinger's talk, "Lean Fare for Alaska Moose--Meeting Protein Requirements is a Complicated Business."

Boreal ecosystems are known to be relatively nitrogen deficient, and this poses important constraints on plant productivity. However, little is known regarding whether this lack of nitrogen availability to plants translates to a similar problem for other organisms, such as moose.

Dr. Spalinger is an associate professor in UAA's Department of Biological Sciences.
