Please join us in a national audio conference at the Student Union entitled "Virginia Tech: One Year Later--Lessons Learned and Implemented."
Hosted by the Dean of Students and UPD Emergency Preparedness offices at UAA, the audio conference will take place in the Lyla Richards meeting room on Tuesday, May 6 from 10-11:30 a.m.
We'll examine the impact of the shootings and how this tragedy has changed college campuses, including our own in Anchorage. An expert panel will discuss how the Virginia Tech and NIU shooting and other campus tragedies have influenced our policies and procedures.
