In order to productively engage controversial topics in the classroom, we need to provide a suitable framework and know how to respond when someone steps out of bounds. Please join us for the first in a series of Ford Foundation-sponsored discussions centered on the nationally acclaimed book "Start Talking" produced by UAA/APU faculty as part of the first Ford Foundation Difficult Dialogues project. Faculty are welcome to drop in and join the Ford Foundation fellows in discussion.
