Call for public events applications related to Canadian issues

In 2004, the University of Alaska Anchorage announced the creation of the Elizabeth Tower Endowment for Canadian Studies. The goal of this endowment is to increase the visibility of Canadian studies in Anchorage.

This year the endowment committee is interested in promoting Canadian studies by sponsoring an event, such as a public lecture, art show or musical presentation, by a prominent Canadian author, scholar or artist. We are soliciting proposals from the university community and public at large and intend to provide up to $2,500 to a worthy application. Please direct well-defined proposals, including a budget, to the members of the Elizabeth Tower Endowment Committee by March 13, 2009.
