TONIGHT: Polaris Lecture, Professor James Liszka to address ethics in the workplace

What works best to develop an ethical culture in an organization and why does it matter? Listen to an examination of what constitutes good work, the causes of ethical misconduct and fraud and some remedies for moral challenges in the workplace.
Professor James Liszka, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, will offer this talk on "Building an Ethical Culture in Organizations" this evening at 7:30 p.m. in Library Room 307.
The author of Moral Competence (Prentice Hall, 1999), Dr. Liszka has given many presentations and workshops on professional and business ethics. He served on the Municipality of Anchorage Board of Ethics and assisted in the development of the Municipal Code of Ethics.
