UMED transit and pedestrian improvements project underway along Providence Drive

The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) has started a UMED Transit and Pedestrian Improvements Project along Providence Drive from Lake Otis Parkway to UAA Drive. Periodically, traffic patterns may change due to construction activity. Please be aware that traffic may be rerouted from Providence Drive due to road closures or converged to one lane traffic on Providence Drive. Estimated completion date of the project is August 2009. Be aware of the surroundings and drive in a safe and prudent manner. Your patience and consideration of other drivers/pedestrians will be appreciated.
