Help lower carbon emissions and save money

The University of Alaska Anchorage pays between $4 and $5 MILLION dollars a year for natural gas and electricity. Surprisingly, electricity costs have always been higher than the cost for natural gas. Last year ,we paid $1,938,856 for electricity.
You can help us reduce that amount (and use the money for more important purposes) just by turning off your lights and your computer when you leave your office for more than 20 minutes. With new computers, it is not true that this shortens the life of the computer. Please help save money and lower carbon emissions.
