October 2009 Psychology Dept. presents 'Feminist Clinical Mentoring: Reflections' with Dr. Markie L.C. Blumer

The Psychology Dept. will continue its series of colloquia with "Feminist Clinical Mentoring: Reflections." This colloquium focuses on experiences with feminist clinical mentoring and its relationship to professional and personal identity development.

The topic will be presented by Dr. Markie L. C. Blumer, assistant professor, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, marriage and family therapy (formerly of UAA), in collaboration with Desiree Compton, graduate student, University of Alaska Anchorage, clinical psychology, Ashley M. Barrera, graduate student, Iowa State University, human development and family studies, and Mary S. Green, Ph.D. candidate, assistant professor, Texas Woman's University, family sciences.

After the presentation there will be an opportunity for discussion between the presenters and audience participants.
