Kodiak College students lead public forums on renewable energy and bear viewing

by Kathleen McCoy  |

A group of Kodiak College students enrolled in a technical writing course arranged two public forums this week to address important topics to the Kodiak Island community and the state of Alaska. A discussion on Kodiak's renewable energy plan took place on Tuesday, Dec. 1, and a second forum was held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, which focused on bear viewing near the O'Malley River.

Read news coverage of the forums in the Kodiak Daily Mirror.

KMXT 100.1 FM, Kodiak's public radio station, also aired the public forums. Find a transcript and a recording.
