Campus parking webinar Dec. 2, 2009

Please join us for a 90-minute webinar aimed at addressing some common issues surrounding parking on campus. The webinar will explore:

  • Strategies for managing parking demand and how to get started reducing demand -- Transportation Demand Management (TDM)
  • Transportation emissions and energy consumption
  • How to create and maintain campus and community partnerships in managing your campus parking
  • How to make use of technology to encourage options to driving
  • The hidden cost of campus parking
  • How the tax policy can assist in reducing driving
  • Best practices from other institutions of higher education

Immediately following the webinar will be a 30-minute discussion targeting concerns specific to UAA and an opportunity to ask questions related to parking management, sustainable transportation, parking permits or public transportation.
