TONIGHT: University Wind Ensemble with conductor Mark Wolbers to perform April 9 at Bartlett High

Experience the Arts 2010 with conductor Mark Wolbers and the University Wind Ensemble when they present Masterworks for Wind Band at the Bartlett High School Auditorium on Friday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m.

Of special interest will be a unique performance of the Mendelssohn Overture for Winds presented in its original instrumentation for 11 players. Other rarely heard masterworks presented at this concert include Toccata Marziale, by Vaughan Williams and Hammersmith Prelude and Scherzo by Holst.
