UAA SInfonia presents 'Tango Pastoral' on April 24

What do you get when you combine exciting guest artists and music from Argentina with Beethoven's 6th Symphony? The UAA Sinfonia concert on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.

Conductor Tai Wai Li and concertmaster Walter Olivares lead the Sinfonia. Joining them will be New York violin soloist Olivier Fluchaire, members of the Madison String Quartet, Philadelphia Brass horn player Tony Cecere, strings from the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and selected wind players from the UAA Wind Ensemble for what will be a spectacular evening of music.

Tickets for this evening of music by Rossini, Piazzolla and Beethoven are $18, or $15 for students, military and seniors. Tickets are available through the Fine Arts Box Office  (907) 786-4849 or CenterTix.net.
