CAFE: Winners of five faculty minigrants to add climate change elements to curriculum announced

by Kathleen McCoy  |

CAFE is pleased to announce that five faculty have been awarded minigrants to revise existing courses to include significant content related to climate change.  Minigrant winners are: Ira Rosnel, Human Services; Trina Carter, Juli Braund-Allen and Deborah Mole, Consortium Library; Cindy Trussell, Chemistry, Kodiak Campus; Beverly Barker, Chemistry, Anchorage Campus; and Debra Russ of Counselor Education.

The award winners will develop and incorporate climate change elements into courses taught during AY 2010-2011 and thereafter at least once more; share their course components with colleagues in a spring 2011 meeting; and make their learning visible to all faculty via an online portfolio.
