IT Services warns campus of a new spam e-mail currently circulating

by Kathleen McCoy  |

There is currently a new spam e-mail being sent to UAA e-mail addresses which requests your username and password, as well as any alternate e-mail you may have. The note threatens to terminate your e-mail account if you do not respond.

This email is not from IT Services or any UA affiliated group, and should not be responded to in any way.

Please remember: IT Services will never request your username and password by e-mail. If you ever receive an e-mail asking for your username and password, it will not be a legitimate request, and you should immediately discard the e-mail.

If you have questions, call the IT Services Call Center at (907) 786-4646 or send an e-mail to callcenter@uaa.alaska.edu.
