Due to unsafe road conditions for Anchorage and surrounding areas, UAA’s Anchorage campus will be on a delayed start today, Thursday, Dec. 4. Campus will open at 10 a.m. to allow for safer travel.
Alaska Jazz Workshop continues with Aug. 13-14 performances

Summer Alaska Jazz Workshop presents the Summer 2010 Jazz Concert Series. All concerts
will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the UAA Fine Arts Building Recital Hall.
The concert series dates are as follows:
- Friday, July 16 and Friday, Aug. 13: Student Jazz Ensembles will perform. General admission is $5 and children 12 and under are admitted free.
- Saturday, July 17: the Alaska Jazz Workshop Faculty Jazz Quintet will perform, featuring all-Alaska jazz. Tickets are $15 and $10 and children 12 and under are admitted free.
- Saturday, Aug. 14: Rebeca Mauleon will perform Latin jazz and world music. Tickets will be $15 and $10 and children 12 and under will be admitted free.
