These events are FREE and open to all UAA students living in the residential community.
In conjunction with UAA Campus Kick-Off and other welcome activities, UAA Residence Life is proud to present Welcome Week 2010 as we celebrate our students living in the UAA residential community. Welcome Week consists of over 50 free events and programs to help students make connections, learn valuable skills and have fun while settling into life on campus.
Monday, Aug. 30 events:
- 6 p.m. Decorate a fish bowl, Cama-i Room
- 7 p.m. Fry bread, Cama-i Room
- 9:30 p.m. Karaoke, Commons Lower Dining
Tuesday, Aug. 31 events:
- 5 p.m. Shuttle for hike to Flat Top leaves, meet at Commons Fireplace
- 6 p.m. Media icon imagery: Hollywood and substance abuse, Commons 107
- 7:30 p.m. Speed dating and tips on healthy relationships, Commons 107
