Mat-Su team finishes in top half of CISCO Netriders competition

Mat-Su College students Dawn Adamson and Jason Warta competed in Cisco NetridersThis is the first year the Matanuska-Susitna College Cisco Networking Academy has competed in the North American Netriders Skills Competition. The team of Jason Warta and Dawn Adamson placed in the top half of the North American theater competition. They placed twentieth out of 45 states and provinces after completing just three of the four courses leading to Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

The Netriders competition is organized by Cisco as an opportunity for Networking Academy students to test their networking/IT skills through a series of online exams and simulation activities using Cisco Packet Tracer, which covers CCNA material. To date, over 16,000 Cisco Networking Academy students have competed in NetRiders events in over 80 countries across the globe. Read more about the competition at the Cisco Netriders site.
