FTC offers streaming video class with Ben Chadwick on March 4

by Kathleen McCoy  |

Friday, March 4, 1-2:30 p.m.
UAA/APU Consortium Library, FTC Instructional Lab Room 214

Explore the differences between UAA's streaming video server and sites like YouTube. Find out what streaming is versus progressive download. We will also cover the differences between uploading to YouTube and uploading to UAA's server. Security and confidentiality of video and accessibility issues will also be discussed.

If there is interest, we can offer this session via eLive as well. Please pre-register for workshops. We will send a confirmation e-mail the day before. Late registrants may not get a confirmation e-mail. Please just show up; you are expected. Check on the FTC website if you want to show up at the last minute just in case the workshop was cancelled. We need three registrants the day before to run the workshop.
