Friday, Jan. 13, 3 p.m.
Rasmuson Hall, Room 112

Do you have a passion for Japanese language and culture? Would you like to take your language skills and cultural knowledge to a whole new level? If the thought of challenging yourself in ways you have never imagined by studying as a Japanese college student excites you, Friday's information session is for you!

Join Professor Harada, coordinator of the Japanese Language Program at UAA and one or more past program participants to learn about the Hokkaido University of Education (HUE)-UAA exchange program. Refreshments will be served.

As a UAA student, you have the option to participate in an exchange with HUE, while paying tuition to UAA, student fees, housing and other school-related expenses to HUE. As with all UAA-affiliated study abroad and exchange opportunities, you maintain your admission status at UAA, earn resident credit and are able to use qualifying financial aid as long as you coordinate your program through the Office of International Affairs.

For more information and for all things international, visit our website or contact Leslie Tuovinen, interim director of the UAA Office of International Affairs at latuovinen@uaa.alaska.edu or (907) 786-4135.
