Seawolves participate in outreach event for fellow runner
by Kathleen McCoy |
The Anchorage Daily News reported that two former UAA runners took the lead in Anchorage's inaugural Bear Tooth/Skinny Raven Shamrock Shuffle over the weekend. The community event, a fundraiser for current Seawolf athlete Marko Cheseto, raised more than $2,400, in part so Cheseto's father could make a trip from Kenya to visit his son, who is recovering from losing both his feet to frostbite this winter.
