Reminder: New and revised course fees for summer 2013 due by Jan. 25

Please be advised that the deadline for all new and revised course fees (including lab fees) for the summer 2013 semester is Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. When considering and proposing new and revised fees, please use University Regulation 05.10.070 as guidance. Forms must be received in Academic Affairs by close of business on Jan. 25. This deadline is intended to comply with University Regulation 05.10.070, which states:

"Fees must be established far enough in advance to be published in the semester course schedule. No unpublished fees or fee increases shall be charged to students, unless the reason for not publishing the fee was beyond the control of the department receiving the proceeds and the fee or fee increase is specifically authorized by the respective chancellor."

Since UAA is moving away from printed schedules, the deadline is now based on the date the semester schedule is available on UAOnline for students to view. The deadlines for future semesters are also listed below for your reference.

Fall semester 2013: Friday, March 8, 2013
Spring semester 2014: Friday, Oct. 18, 2013
