Planetarium: 'Scales of the Universe' - Sept. 13, 2013

How big is the universe? Does it go on forever? What is the most distant object we can see? We'll answer all of these questions and more in a special all-live presentation. Starting from the Earth, we'll fly out of our solar system, beyond our galaxy the Milky Way and to the edge of the universe!

Planetarium: Biology Night featuring 'Nanocam' and 'Natural Selection' - Sept. 20, 2013

Biology Night at the planetarium offers a double-header of shows, each followed by a lecture, that look at life in new and interesting ways.

'Alaska Native Corporations and Their Shareholders,' Aug. 5

Aaron Leggett, Paul Ongtooguk, Edgar Blatchford and Carl Wassilie discuss Alaska Native corporations and their shareholders. The discussion will primarily focus on Alaska Natives who feel disenfranchised and cheated because they do not have a formal relationship with any Native corporation due to the time of their birth and inheritance rules.
