The following workshops are available for registration at the Faculty Technology Center for the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 1:

Open Lab Monday, Oct. 28, 9-11 a.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 214 or via Blackboard Collaborate

Open lab time for instructors to get assistance from FTC's instructional designers. No registration necessary to attend.

iPad Ninja Training-Go Paperfree Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2:30-3:45 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 214 or via VTC*

Who wants more papers on their desk? Get rid of the clutter by using your iPad to do tasks that used to be easier by hand. Learn more about cool apps to grade papers, annotate PDFs and create sketches. Instructors will also cover how to store documents in the cloud so they are available from any device, anywhere. If you have a stylus, bring it, otherwise, FTC can lend you one. Also, feel free to bring piles and piles of hard copies you would like to shred after you realize you will no longer need them.

*Contact the FTC at (907) 786-4496 if you need assistance scheduling VTC.

Open Lab Friday, Nov. 1, 1-3 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 214 or via Blackboard Collaborate

Open lab time for instructors to get assistance from FTC's instructional designers. No registration necessary to attend.
