Students, staff, faculty and community members invited to use new CCEL portal to find partners for community-centered collaboration

The mission of the Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) is to connect academic programs with community needs for the mutual benefit of UAA, the State of Alaska, its communities and its diverse peoples. The latest tool in making those connections for "partnerships with great purpose" is a new, web-based portal called Community-Campus Connections.

Community-Campus Connections invites students, faculty, staff and community members to post and respond to opportunities for collaboration. Everyone is encouraged to use the site and spread the word. Examples of usage include community members seeking volunteers or help with reports, program planning, research, etc.; faculty planning community-engaged courses or research; and students seeking volunteer, internship or community-based research experiences.
