Tom Kizzia presents 'Writing Alaska Nonfiction: The Creation of the Greatland,' Oct. 23

Tom Kizzia has explored rural Alaska while being a reporter for the Anchorage Daily News. He is the author of the highly acclaimed book, "Pilgrim's Wilderness: A True Story of Faith and Madness on the Alaska Frontier." At this event he examines the challenges in writing about Alaska-- a place of myth, striving, and home.
