Seawolves speak in India

Members of UAA's Seawolf Debate Program represented Alaska in the 34th World Universities Debating Championships hosted by Rajalakshmi Engineering College in Chennai, India, Dec. 28-Jan. 4. The Seawolves faced off against 370 teams from 45 nations to debate topics ranging from international relations to social issues.

Pillow Patrol: Create pillowcases for local foster children - Jan. 18, 2014

Join the Cooperative Extension Service for an afternoon of service and volunteer to help create pillowcases for Anchorage-area foster kids. Pillowcases create a colorful place to lay your head and make handy bags for storing personal belongings. Children who receive the pillowcases are able to choose their favorite from the hundreds of colorful options that volunteers create for them.
