Melissa Shein, M.D., Inupiaq, currently practices family medicine at the Alaska Native Medical Center in the Primary Care Clinic. Come hear her discuss how her biological sciences degree led to her current career. Free pizza will be provided.

Dr. Shein began attending UAA as a student in the ANSEP Summer Bridge Program during the summer of '99, with an internship at BP. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in biological sciences from UAA and master's degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine.
