Recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month and the people who have and continue to greatly influence our past, present and future, the Our Stories Panel will offer UAA students, staff and faculty the opportunity to share about themselves, and allow our UAA community to gain insight into the thoughts, views and opinions of the Hispanic UAA community.

Oct. 23, 2014: Public debate on Alaska Ballot Measure 2 at the Bear Tooth

A nation-wide reconsideration of America’s drug policy is underway; November’s Ballot Measure 2 puts that consideration before Alaskans. Should we continue to treat marijuana as a criminal problem or do other models offer appealing alternatives? Come watch as debaters tackle the motion, "Alaskans should vote to legalize the production, sale and use of marijuana."
