Workshop: Friday, March 20, 1-2 p.m. Blackboard Collaborate

The definition of digital literacy can be broken into two main points: 1) Competence in a wide range of digital tools, used for varied purposes; and 2) the ability to critically evaluate academic resources that are hosted online in electronic formats, such as online journals and e-books.

We will define and discuss the two definitions and share examples of how to weave digital literacy skills and review simple methods that will help you weave these skills into your current course assessments.

Bring an example assignment to share, review and update during the workshop.
